Loaves & Fishes is a wonderful community asset and provides much needed resources with their food pantry. We stopped in recently to learn more.

What is the greatest need for the pantry in terms of donations right now?
The ongoing greatest need at the pantry is for personal products such as toothpaste, individually wrapped toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, bar soap, disposable razors, and shaving cream.
Can residents donate fresh or frozen items as well as shelf-stable groceries and products?
Refrigerated or frozen food is accepted but arrangements must be made to deliver them when the pantry is open.
Besides donating, how else can the community help Loaves & Fishes?
We welcome volunteers to call or email us with their desire to help. Volunteers assist clients when the pantry is open, stock shelves, help prepare the pantry the day before it’s open, pick up food at farm stands, and work in the garden during the summer. Financial donations are always needed and welcome.
