Grace Lord Park is located on the west edge of Boonton, at the intersection of West Main Street and Essex Avenue. The Rockaway River spills over a man-made dam at the park, serving as the backdrop to the peaceful grounds ready for you to enjoy.

The park features spacious grounds overlooking the water which features a fountain and leads to the dam. A woodland-themed playground and plenty of swings will occupy playful kids, and numerous benches and a lovely gazebo offer places to relax.

If you continue past the gazebo you can get a good view of the water spilling over the dam as well as some signs detailing the history of the Morris Canal and Boonton Ironworks that utilized the river in the 1800s through early 1900s. A further walk takes you to the trail system where you can explore the Boonton Gorge. Trails line the river and provide opportunities for fishing, with views of the river and waterfalls. Take some time to enjoy this lovely park!
