Fun on the Farm in Boonton, NJ

Brookhollow’s Barnyard in Boonton Township, New Jersey

Brookhollow’s Barnyard is a beautiful sprawling farm located at the Four Corners in Boonton Township. Home to a variety of farm animals, including goats, horses and sheep, it’s well maintained and perfect for an afternoon visit with or without your kids. You can stop by and pay an entrance fee, pack a picnic lunch, and pet and feed the animals, or sign up to participate in one of the many activities Farmer Tina hosts. Lots of fun to be had, including corn mazes, summer camps, tractor and hay rides, pumpkin picking, and more. It’s also a fun spot to host your birthday party!

For other quick adventures, how about these?
Visit the Honey House at Gooserock Farm on the border of Boonton and Montville. It’s a super cute little house (pictured above) with a variety of local honey products, soaps, candles, lip balm, and more.
Head over to the Tourne and walk the many trails and be sure to seek out the Bird Sanctuary while you’re there.
Stop by Grace Lord Park and follow the path along the waterfalls. There’s a great playground for your kiddos at the entrance.
